Police Officer- West Manheim Township Police Department, Hanover, Pennsylvania

The West Manheim Township Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time police officer.  West Manheim Township is in the southwest corner of York County.  The Department provides coverage to approximately 9,000 residents covering 19.9 square miles.  The Department currently has a compliment of 10 full-time members. 

Application Process:
Applications for Police Officer may be obtained from the Police Department weekdays between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM at 2412 Baltimore Pike Hanover, Pennsylvania.  You may email Louis Sordon at Louis@westmanheimpd.com to be sent an application packet by email.  There is no fee to participate in this process.  Upon review of all qualified applicants, a select number of applicants will be notified of a specific date and time to participate in an oral interview process.

       Applicants must be capable of the possessing the requisite skills, knowledge, and abilities for the position.  They must possess current PA Act 120 certification or able to obtain a waiver of PA Act 120 certification if employed as a police officer in another state.

Estimated Starting salary and seven-year salary per contract- 
•   $68,004.00 after one year of service
•   $97,111.00 after seven years of service
