The West Manheim Township Board of Supervisors is accepting letters of interest from township residents for two (2) positions on the Township’s Planning Commission. The Planning Commission serves as an advisory body to the Board of Supervisors on matters involving subdivision and land development plans, zoning applications and various township ordinances, such as the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance and Zoning Ordinance.

The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for plan and application approvals or denials, potential ordinance revisions, and other actions that shape the development of West Manheim Township.

The township Planning Commission meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. The open term for this position is four years.  Term begins in January of 2023. 

To be considered, applicant must be a resident of West Manheim Township. The applicant must write a letter of interest and submit a current resume. The Board of Supervisors will review and consider information from all applicants and may schedule interviews with select applicants. After considering all factors of applicants, the Board of Supervisors may select a candidate for appointment. Please email letter of interest to: by December 27, 2022.
